The Marvellets occupy an esteemed place in the history of American popular music. With their first record “Please Mr. Postman” hitting the top spot on the charts, they were on their way to fast becoming an important member of the Motown Family.

     Other chart topping hits followed with “When You’re Young and in Love” Beechwood 4-5789”, “Too Many Fish in the Sea”, and “Don’t Mess with Bill”

     The Marvelletes are still in demand for personal appearances, offering a show comprised of their version of some great standards that is interspersed with all of their popular hits.

     The Platters Recorded “Only You” in 1955 and never looked back. They had four number one hits and sixteen gold records.

     The Platters have toured in 75 countries around the world and spend much time abroad playing venues from Madison Square Garden and the Bottom Line, to the great halls of Europe. In 1990 the Platters were inducted into the Rock n Roll hall of fame where they so rightly belong.
